    Having this thought in their mind “Mother India’s Crochet Queens” started their journey under the leadership of
    Ms. Subasri Natrajan to “UNITE” the great human family. Further assisted by the core group members
    Ms. Remya Sajeev and Ms. Prerna Das created a group of talented females from different walks of life but with a common objective. A group of women broke Guinness World Record for the Largest Crochet blanket by smashing a South African group. We made 11,148 sq. mtr Single Crochet blanket which covers 1.5 size of the football pitch and broke the earlier record with 2000+ Indian women from across the world. Ms. Subashri Mentions “We started this group in Aug 1st, 2015 with the aim to achieve Guinness World Record and donate all the blankets to needy people. We also had our successful crochet cap donation event in the year 2016 donating about 7000 caps from newborn to old age people for cancer survivors and needy people. We have set Guinness World Record for Longest Crocheted Scarf – A Human Creative Skill effort by one Team in the current year 2017. The event is taking place in Chennai on May 21st. The crocheted scarves are going to be donated to govt approved orphanages and old age homes. Now MICQ has won its 3rd Guinness World Record for “Largest Crochet display of Sculptures” in the concept of “Go green, Save earth” on 21st May 2018. Further to spread the message of unity, harmony, corporation and peaceful co-existence MICQ joined officially their Though Mentors Indian Skills Development Council under the guidance of its Director Mr. J. P. Singh.
